damax hasn't been on since Friday when he was set to leave for his opening weekend. Hopefully he's still at it and/or had a little luck and not some other set back. Still not sure what is up with Shane, hopefully he is just tied up with schooling or something as well and nothing worse going on. Not really like him basing it on seasons past.
Good morning Guys! No luck for me this weekend in Ohio. I did see my target buck on Saturday evening but he didn't come close enough. He was with a bunch of bachelor bucks in my food plot at 120 yards away. I watched them eat and spar for 20 minutes. Frustrating to see them and not have them come into range. My Dad connected on his target buck on Sunday night. It was a 148" 10 point that we've been watching all summer. There is an 11 point that showed up over the weekend that is at least a 4.5 year old. Starting to look promising. I'll be headed back out on the 9th.
Maybe it is just the Cards. I had a few cards go bad and thought the cam wasn't taking pics. Guess they are only good for so many formats before they crap out !!
they are getting old. i'll try some new card just to be sure. my cards have had tens of thousands of pics through them over the years.
Ya Mine too. I bought some new ones and the cameras started to work. I just had to buy the 4gb cards as my came are old and wont work with higher gb ones. good luck
@Holt and @bornfromthecorn Can you both resubmit your contest entries. Seems there was a mishap and the thread was deleted. Hopefully you still have the required pictures, if not let me know and I'll make sure it gets righted.
Yes I still have my pics. So I can resubmit if the thread is restored Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Looks like resubmission is required. We still got this https://forums.bowhunting.com/threads/2020-official-scorecard-thread.98775/
I will repost tomorrow. It's getting late here. Luckily I put the pics on the pc. Usually I just take them with my phone and erase them. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
learning lesson for all of us. we all need to keep our pics until the end. or post them on the team thread to just so we have duplicates for a back up plan.
Here's some pics of the buck my Dad took on Sunday evening in Ohio. He's 75 and he shot this from 25 feet up in a climbing tree stand.
Here are pictures of two of the bucks my buddy and I stalked the other week when we were out west. At about a mile and half, never was able to find him again, however. At about 25 yards from me, my buddy was about 25 yards to my left and never had a clean shot. I could've shot about fifteen times lol.
Not a bad idea. That way we have the duplicate pics here and makes easier to access. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Alright got her posted back up. Hopefully it sticks this time! Haha I also added the pics to my original post on this team thread, on the night I shot her. That way its here also.
Not going to make it out tomorrow, I kinda knew it wasn't going to happen well before I said I was going to. Got the all clear from the surgeon this past Tuesday so not worried about much as far as aggravating things, still going to be some discomfort climbing/descending stands and probably the sit while on stand let alone post kill activities. Going to do some actual prep tomorrow. Organize the freezers, hopefully shoot the bow a few times, get things ready to actually hunt. The weather Saturday is looking like what today did last week, only it is 2 days away rather than a week so confident it is a better option anyway. Halloween is when I really get amped up, just the nature of the property and my ability to access it regularly. I'll get my seat time in, no worries there.
