I hunt Morgan County in West Central IL, don't get out much early season trying to give what I can to work as I normally work less than 13 days in Novemeber. Been on a team previously with Dmax, and spend every year in the LFTS theead with Holt, shane amd TC. Recognize a few of the other names as well as a few new ones. I think we stand a chance in this one.
Looks like everyone has been a forum member for no less than 3 years. Should have a full team without needing an alternate request.
Hey everyone! My name is Skyler. I live in eastern SD but hunt all over the state. The past several years I have been pretty fortunate with deer hunting on the public ground in SD. Here is my public land bucks from the last few years. 2017 SD Public Land Archery 2018 SD Public Land Archery 2019 SD Public Land Rifle I am feeling pretty good about this season. I have practiced quite a bit and am feeling confident in my shooting and have seen some pretty good deer from scouting. Season starts tomorrow, but I am unsure if I will be able to get out, if I do it will be for a doe. This Thursday I am driving out to Idaho for an elk hunt. Last year I got pretty close to shooting a nice bull and I am pretty confident I will have an opportunity this season if I do my part right!
Hey buddy think this is the first time we have been on a team. Gonna be great to share a team with you! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Likewise, I believe Dmax is the only member I've been on a team with in the past. Pretty sure that was the year we came im 2nd to Team 3 and would have won it any other year. Hopefully he is good luck
Post them every year, believe me when I say it is the land and not the hunter, but here's my past contest entries. Had to use a crossbow for a few seasons when I tore my rotator cuff but back to a vertical bow now. 2009(wasn't in contest) 2011 2013 2015 I believe 2016 2017 2018 2019
Yea 100%. Around where I live I haven't had an opportunity at a whitetail over 100" in six years. For mule deer, I frequently see pretty good bucks and have had pretty good luck harvesting a few good ones. I also enjoy mule deer hunting quite a bit more, so hopefully I can get it done on again this year. Last year I missed a pretty good buck in velvet and blew a bunch of stalks the rest of the year.
Nothing wrong with that, never been on a team with a spot and stalker. Going to be pretty cool following your season
Doesn't seem like many people on this forum overall do it much. I do most of my hunting out west and its pretty much a requirement to be successful with the areas I hunt. I have already been antelope hunting a bit and have got pretty close a few times but wasn't able to get any shots. Here is a screenshot of the best opportunity I had, they bolted right when I started to slowly peak up to try and shoot though.
That's awesome! I went to Colorado in 2018, I think and hunted mule deer with bow. I didn't get one, but saw a few nice ones. I was looking for one particular buck that was pushing over 200" but just couldn't find him all week. It's was a blast though. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I just looked thru the team list and noticed that not one team seems stacked and they are fairly spread out. Looks to be a good contest this year. Looking forward to it! I'm working today so maybe this evening I can post up a few of my past season bucks. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
It must be the beard!!! This guy is a ringer. He keeps the deer tied up. Sorry, that was Boonerville. lol I get it, shots fired. Good Luck this year, Clinton!!!
