Oh I have thought about that. I’m not sure my wife would care for that. I would be in the dog house for 2 months then. Finding a spot to go would be another challenge. I guess I could start doing some digging on public land and maybe try to line something up. Even if it’s just a couple days in sept that I could hunt that would relieve my tensions. My brother and his buddy have a lease somewhere in Maryland that is turning out to be an awesome spot but I would definitely not be permitted to spend the money to get in on that. Keep the ball rolling. I have a few weeks to go but fell good about getting a doe to add to the team. If history repeats itself shouldn’t take more than a few sits. Good job guys! Season starts September 28 in Arkansas. I'm on vacation opening week. I have one pretty good buck showing up and an odd one. He has solid right side and next to nothing on the left. Had one a couple years ago similar except he had a drop time only. He blew up to 150+ the following year. Never got a chance for a shot but seen him several times out of range. Hi Guys. I just got back from 2 weeks in China. Opening day was yesterday to plan to get out by the end of the week to check cards and try to smack a doe.
Just had a good practice session. Shot 6 arrows from 20 then 6 at 30 and so on back to 50. All would have killed. Then I went back down to 20 and just kept working on pounding heart shots for another 15 arrows. Felt good!!!! I so wish I could shoot at real deer. I need to get the rest of my cameras out, but I pulled the chips out of the two cams I have out. Looks like I've got a buck or two that I can go after. Now, just gotta find time!
