Been snowing all day here in N Illinois. I think we've gotten 4-6 inches at least...With temps not getting over the mid-30's for the next couple week's or so, the hunting should be good!

I think I’m going to have to skip tomorrow evening. Gut is telling me to go into the killin tree but I have another set I haven’t hunted yet and feel like I should try them all since I put the time in to set them up. Went out this morning. Saw a doe running a field edge about 80 yards away. She made her way to my stand but was behind some brush. She kept looking back the direction she came. I waited hoping she had a good buck in tow. It was another doe. I could have easily shot her but I only had 2 hours sleep and had to be at work back at 2:30.
