That weather is looking awesome John! Good luck this weekend!

I will be out tomorrow morning, then hunting Sunday afternoon. Good luck to you all and hoping someone knocks down a buck this weekend!

Went out last night. Doe behind me for 45 minutes eating acorns...she never came my way. Saw an owl catch a baby coon! Anyway, decent buck on card. Temps dropping in Wisconsin next week (all our leaves should be gone by then as well).

It stopped raining, the sun is trying to peek out and I'm in the stand.

Just got back from a wedding in Jersey last night and decided to pull the card in my trail cam just to see what’s going on. Ends up there were 4 different bucks pictured since Thursday morning. One nice 8 and others were basket racked 6’s. Can’t shoot a buck but still cool to see them moving around. Getting out again Tuesday and our week long muzzleloader and 3 day early gun doe season is now over so back to normal in the woods. Hopefully we can get that last tag filled next week because when time changes it’s a lot tougher for Me to get out in the evenings as much.

No real luck. I heard a buck grunting and tried to call him in but never saw him. Saw one deer in a field as I walking out at dark. Got pictures of my target buck on two different occasions. This young buck appears to be sick. I'm thinking CWD.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Had a good hunt this afternoon. Had this guy at 75 yards out but never closer. Wrote a quick story in regular forum. DSC_6632.jpg DSC_6633.jpg DSC_6640.jpg

Man you guys have been doing great! Sorry I haven’t been around lately, life has been crazy busy!

I’ve only been out twice, I’ve seen 4 does and a small buck in those two sits.. Heading to Illinois for 7 days on the 17th of November, so hoping to knock a few down then!

    Keep up the good work!

Hunt when you can, that's all anyone can do. Good luck on your trip, the bucks are definitely starting to get goofy!

Mike you have some great looking deer! I saw the young buck you posted in the other thread, he looks to be a future stud. Doesn't look like it will long before you connect on a good one! Good luck out there!

Well I’m back at it. See if we can finish this off tonight. I have a feeling that I’m going to see horns but no does. That seems to be the way it’s going except for the first few days I was out. I got spoiled my first 2 sits if the year thought this was going to be easy. Now back to the way it always has been. Got to put in the time to get it done. Good luck to anyone else out!!!!9

    Good luck Happy!

I'm on stand now and sitting a new spot along a marsh. Got great sign in the area, so should see some deer tonight!

Sounds like you might be at a good spot. If you had a doe being chased around tonight maybe her stink will spread and bring every buck in the woods your way.

Just had 1 more spike come by at last light. No big boys, but the rut is on! Another guy hunting no far from me shot a mature 7 pt. He was with a doe.

I'm getting closer! Had a nice buck within 40 yards, but he was in some thick stuff. Also, I had a great card pull over the weekend...found an absolutely legendary deer.

This buck is a known monster in my area. This is our 2nd year hunting this spot but we never saw him at all last year. In the past week, we got him on 3 different camera's on 3 seperate days....going to be putting in some extra time to find this guy!
