Checking in from Southwest PA. I’ll be looking in this area and also on some private ground in OHIO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll be honest, I'm not good at finding sheds. Mainly because where I am there simply isn't a lot to find. With that said, the only reason I signed up was because I'm doing a scouting trip to the land of giants in March. That's my best chance at finding sheds.
I vote Boone for captain.... The guy is ridiculous. The last time I was on his team he won for us singlehandedly. Fun fact: I found his ig page and dm'd him and we talked briefly while I was on stand. He said good luck and about 5 minutes later I killed my first of the year with my bow. I'm convinced the guy is good luck in every aspect of life lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Glad to see that we are all checked in. Now all we have to do is win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
LOL I appreciate the vote of confidence. I'm ok with being captain I guess. Hopefully we all find a pile this year!
Also FWIW, I did do a bit of scouting last Sunday in the bigwoods. It was a great day but tough walking. We had about 8 inches of sloppy snow that I trekked through. No sheds and actually didn't find a lot of sign. I more or less found out where the deer are not.
I don’t have class today so I think I’m going to go check out the Forrest preserve I hunted this year for some bone. 280 acres I should find something I hope Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
LOL. It was literally laying in a soccer field at a city park. saw it from the road. Not even a place I hunt.
Hoping to get out tomorrow for a few hours on some private ground around home. Hoping for the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I found my first ever match set on public ground on a soccer field a a few years back. I walked in the morning saw rhe buck sunning himself on the edge. When i came out 3 hours later i saw a buck standing there with bloody holes. They we 10 feet apart. Sent from my SM-N920P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
