Season just getting started in Iowa. Made a few sits with my daughters but could not close the deal. One very nice gobbler stood at 6 yards for her but stood between the windows on our blind and she was unable to get a shot off. Then he circled around the decoys just outside of her comfort zone.

Anyway, does anybody know if we need to post pics and measurements on the thread called Score Card or just post it in our thread here? I see guys are doing both.

I don't know why you wouldn't have to post on the score card. Need a pic with you, your bow, and the bird

Was in the blind 30 min this morning and struck my biggest yet. 30 lbs, 1 1/4" spurs. 11" beard. Got it on camera too but the snuck up on me and charged the decoys so only for a short time. What a hunt. Will post picks on scorecard this weekend sometime. [IMG]

Got out here before light and get settled in.... 20 minutes later there are roughly 6 people calling in my general vicinity. Sucks only owning a small piece of land surrounded by other turkey hunters! By the sounds of it we are all chasing 1 gobbler haha.

The birds in my area are just not cooperating. So frustrating. Will not commit.

Well guys My season has come to an end here in Texas and it has left me empty handed. Hens have been nested up already for a week or two and the beards just never would commit. I never got the chance to pull the string back. Bowhunt4abuck that is one nice bird. I wish y'all the best of luck and will stay tuned. Sorry I couldn't add to it this year guys.

Hey guys. Mathewsmq1 checking in. I'm from SE Wisconsin. This my second year turkey hunting but first with a bow. I have some land that hasn't been hunted on for turkeys that i know of. Hopefully we can win this contest! I'll post some turkey pictures as soon as I can get out scouting.

I ended my season Sunday morning with a shot gun. Gave it a good go with a bow....just didn't work out. Shot a 4 year old bird with nice spurs and a thick 10 inch beard, but it only weighed 17 pounds.
