My name is Ed, from Eastern Iowa. First time doing a competition like this, although my buddies an I have done a similar competition (not bow only, however). I've killed a couple birds w/ a bow, but the best hunting experience I've ever had was hunting w/ my daughter last year. She was able to kill a mature gobbler w/ her bow. She was 10 at the time. Got in the blind about 8:30 (she is not a morning person) and 5 minutes later...
    Enjoy.

Looking forward to getting back out w/ bow in hand and a little friendly competition.

    Howdy Ed.
My name is Shawn I'm from central Texas. Been bow hunting for a good while now but got my first bird with a bow just last year. Season Starts this Saturday for me. Ive been invited to a couple of new places that Im told are covered in birds, so we will see what happens.

Nice video Ed and congrats to your girl. Talk about hitting the bullseye lol. Looks like you have another one waiting for her turn up to bat.

I'm from Southern Illinois, I'll be hunting here on my lease and my honey hole, usually been seeing about 40 turkeys when scouting, I'll be hunting third season here in Illinois, and I'll be hunting in Indiana potentially. Im really excited about this season!

Hey guys - Jake checking in. 2nd year hunting for birds, couldn't connect last year but have high hopes this year.

I hunt my family farm which is 60 acres and also just got permission to some excellent ground. Season starts 4/13 - I'm pumped!

TDK - Todd from the Great Lakes State....Michigan ( at this point we are still playing in March Madness!). I am headed to Kansas for the first week of April - it's bowhunt only for turkeys the first week of April in Kansas. I've been there several years and it's a ton of fun - just wish it wasn't always windy. There is a 2 bird limit in KS and I can get one in MI. Last year was the first year I participated in the contest. The contest adds enjoyment and comradery.

    Hit 'em low...watch them go
    Hit 'em high...watch them die!

I'm almost to Kansas. Soon I will be scouting for turkeys and trying to roost them for the morning. I'll be out first thing. Good luck to all of you.

Not too any turkeys out this evening...but the weather wasn't conducive to them being out anyways. Got a couple of places set up for the morning.

That hawk is one of the best cam pics I've seen!!

I had 3 toms come in to 60 yards last night. Wouldn't break from the ladies.

It's definitely the best photo I have ever gotten, I was just as excited as if imagine I'd be for a 200" whitetail
