    Loaded question for me lol October 23-30th are usually awesome for me on public land. If I don’t get a buck late October I’ll slowly shift to private for a couple weeks. November 7-13 is my second favorite believe it or not. I have vacation in for October 25-30 and also November 7th-13.

    For some reason the four days that always seem to produce for me and my buddies are always November 9-12 every single year

    Definitely okay with you being captain for sure. Especially if it will keep you engaged bud.

    Anywhere from November 1st through the 12th has always been good for me. If I could take a week off and just hunt it'd be within that week.

    As for rut I follow the slurpy rule always 7 -11
    As for Capt ... I would follow Benny anywhere.
    I'm shovel ready for that guy.

    I like the last week to 10 days of Oct, but Nov 7-12 is fun too. I've never had much luck during the rut.
    I'm good with Benny at the helm.

    @Fix ...shovel ready?!

    For a brief moment yesterday, between meetings, all I could come up with was
    1 Veantores (latin for hunters) pretty lame
    2 Five points gang. Too specific and historical.

    In other words, I used to be decent at this. Hell I talked an entire team into team "Stiff Shafts" a few years back.
