I know what you mean I have 4 kids. Last year 2 year old turn the deep freezer off without anyone knowing for a week because whirlpool thought it would be wise to put it at the bottom right corner with a fancy green light Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got a hold of dnr to find out my tags weren't even printed... also got my address changed on them while on the phone. firearm starts on Thursday for private land down here. And public land starts in 2 weeks for archery. I have no pics of the bucks I've seen this year on public land left them on my computer. Have 1 pretty nice buck on camera. The only current cam picture i have is of this bear. Middle of moving and my computer is somewhere at my old place. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
that’s an absolute nightmare for sure…mine in the garage thank god. We have six between my girlfriend and I lol hers are older though and her boy is starting to want to get into hunting. Mine are still little little. So between taking Ashley out and her boy I can think of a week I’ll be able to get serious ha but it’s all worth it. I do have ashley hanging her sticks and stand now so she’s kind of wanting to start venturing on her own a little. By that I mean maybe over the ridge from me. She grazed a 160+ inch monster last year. We seen him four times but only one shot opportunity. Unfortunately I did see him in someone’s truck bed in gun season so as far as I know I have no giants in mind to hunt. I’ll be happy with anything 130 atleast and can’t wait to whack a doe lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I see a big one each year, I haven't had a shot at a monster in about 3 years. I missed a 150ish. But I could take a 110-120 every year. My heart's just not in it. I want to get a big un Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
Exactly this if it's a great location I would flip it 180. But I warn you it's not for the beginners it's tough but they don't lay down and die... Got werk boi Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
@Nick Lewandowski don’t forget to bold out Russ! Wasn’t sure you saw where he checked in or not Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Don't worry I'm keeping up! Lol I know I'm quiet right now. Just not able to get on my phone during the day. Fixing to many other people's mistakes during the day.
Hi Guys. Ben from Minnesota late to the party. I’ve had a lot of success shooting big bucks the last several years. I mostly wait until the last week of October to hit the woods. I take the first 2 weeks of November off to hunt the rut hard and hope to nail one of my shooters this Fall. Looking forward to getting to know you guys better and hopefully putting some points on the board for our team.
If we’re looking for a captain I was captain when the Thwack Pack did it. I wouldn’t be opposed to being captain so I can be more active. I love this forum and I need an escape when I’m at school Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I live in Stillman Valley but I’m from Byron and teach there. How about yourself? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hell yeah I think we’re all here! Gonna be an awesome year for team five! Welcome guys! Don’t forget to give team 12 some hell on their thread. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Ah no kidding. We used to have tournaments there in HS. I’m from Shabbona. Live in Malta now. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Benny for captain if he wants. AssKickers team name cuz it's gonna happen Great to see all checked in. I have a feeling
Dave's my name, sorry shoulda addressed myself proper in my first post.. but most forums address me as BnB. Took a tour of my bear area before dark. Seen 2. Nuttin big. I really want a 600+ bear(which is huge for a Mn bear) Have killed about 60 but never a "big one" I despise the time/effort it takes to process the big ones. Dam thing is, I try and take women/kids each year and they've been taking some giants and I STILL end up doing it. My screws are loose! It's gonna take a good cool down before the "urge " hits me. Usually 3 week of sept.(for bear) I think our team has a GREAT chance to take the title from team 12
Oh yeah, I wanted to add. I'm not /never been on Facebook so I don't do the like/dislike thing and I don't do it on forums either. So please don't think I'm being a dink for not doing it.
Question to all. Which week of November is your bread and butter? Do you have a sentimental week, or is it based on full moon? Full moon the second week of November. It has me second guessing my week of Oct 31-Nov 7. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
