We were on a team a few years ago and I was always telling everyone of all the deer I was passing lol but that year was my first on that farm and there were GIANTS. Ended up shooting a really heavy 8 that year with a muzzleloader but wasn’t able to help the team out unfortunately. So he’s been on my case ever since haha. Our team from that year actually still have a group chat and stay connected.

Gotcha. I assumed it had to be something like that and knew it was all in fun. Hope you see one you don't want to pass on this year!

My standards definitely aren’t high right now lol been a super tough season and at this point I need another deer in the freezer. On a positive note we had a giant spotted tonight on a small parcel I hunt. Headed out in the morning with fingers crossed but also might not pass up the right direction 100 incher if he gives me an easy shot. Nothing but fergie bucks in the last three weeks ha

Congrats Russ. I was thinking you went awhal.

Can you still shoot a doe?

I was gonna stay and hunt 2_3 more days but I pulled the pin after this morning sit. (Didn't see a deer).
Can't explain the total lack of movement?
Drive 120 miles back home and bucks were going nutts!!
Was real fun watching bucks chasing does the past couple hours even though it was from the truck.
    I'm far from done guys.
Got a few projects I gotta work on but I still will get out quite a bit.

Assuming there was a celebration after the kill and all the work that is, or at least I hope so! Congrats again! Do you score bucks yourself, or is that going to be something the taxi does for you?

Just more little peckerheads this morning. Meaning forkies ha. Did manage to whack a fawn killer. Was the second one I seen. First one caught me drawing and this one came through an hour later. Made an insanely long shot at 50 yards but smoked her.

Shot this stud mallard this morning it was a lot slower than I figured it would be in the snow. It was awful “ducky” today

Sorry bud. Would have loved for it to be a buck trust me. I’m trying boys I’m trying. I’m not joking when I say all I’m seeing is spikes and forks. I’m hunting all the sign on the property. A major funnel full of scrapes. Everyone else hunts over corn. And they’re seeing all the bucks hahah

Well fellas I said I would shoot one and I did hahaha definitely had some ground shrinkage but he got my heart pumping after seeing nothing hardly all year and I took him! Hunted my tail off so I’m proud of him just the same. I’ll get him scored tomorrow!
