    It really is. I was texting the hunter on the more local property I gained access to and he is saying he isn't getting any good pictures and only had two yearlings come out at last light, last night. Not sure what is going on. I'm not seeing deer in the morning or evenings on my way home from work. Weird year.

    Blessed to kill my #1 this morning. Had 2 does bedded under my stand and he came in grunting around 9:00. Stopped at 10 yards in some thick brush and looked right up at me. I already had my bow drawn and was able to slip the arrow through. He ran 30 yards and tipped over. I will get him cleaned up and get a couple pics with my bow and get him scored. Thrilled!

    LOL. So due to a slight snafu with HR at my new job, I can't start my new position until the 21st and my last day at current job is over the 16th. Guess I have some extra days to hunt!

    I could not get to the only stand I could hunt with the wind direction.
    There were deer already there.
