Been in a tree since 3. Rained the first 1.5 hours. Hoping the deer get on their feet now that it’s stopped. Haven’t seen anything yet. Feels good though. Nice pictures at my stand tii

Well seen few does and left early, had my son with me, he really wanted to go. The honey hole is shredded with sign so hung a set. Might hit in morning since it’s raining tonight. Scrapes and rubs everywhere and hung couple cameras.

I'm going to hang a stand and hunt this evening. I can't get off work till 4, so I'll be risking bumping a doe or even a buck to get there that late. It's about a 5 minute walk in between two bedding areas and this S wind isn't ideal, but it won't blow out the bedding. Hopefully I can sneak in unseen. This particular spot has been lights out this time of year, but usually much better on some sort of N wind. We'll see. I haven't stepped foot in there all season, so there hasn't been any pressure at all. Normally I wouldn't even bother with this weather, but I really don't think it will matter much at this point.

I've seen 7 bucks so far this morning including a big 8. I picked up my bow but he did not come close enough.

Rained all morning. Out again. I’m really not seeing “rut” activity. I do have an absolute stud on my camera near this spot.

If he's there and you're there...doesn't that make it y'all's time?

Fast times at tree stand high...

Hopefully you get the reference...seriously tho, best of luck

    Great buck James.
    Tom, that's gotta be grueling?
    In a tree or blind?

I'm back working. Couple days and it's gonna start cooling off.

Pretty much identical to here and yeah I agree. I'll be out there this evening anyway. Wind is W not S, so I got that going for me. Makes the killin tree less risky.

Heading out to the money farm after work. Should get there around 8. Gonna hunt until 330 or so. Have to get my kiddos. Also gonna rattle some. Haven’t done that all year because I never have luck calling on public land. Going in for a kill boys!

Also my dad gave me his old switchback. Tuned it up yesterday and it’s SHOOTING. PSE is going in the back burner and I’m super excited to try to harvest a buck with the ole switchback

She’s been right there with me bud. You’d be happy to know she’s been passing little bucks all week lol! I wish she’d shoot one to get one under her belt but she just plain won’t..

Got her a saddle a few weeks ago and she’s been hunting hard. Easy for her to do that herself than hang a stand. Just haven’t closed the deal yet. We got recruited for a doe killing mission on a property of my buddies next Sunday. Hoping she’s able to get ya 50 anyway…I guess hahaha

Only saw does tonight. Damn I forgot how big the does are here. Really tempting but this is a buck hunt
