For good luck I listened to a cover from 5 Finger Death Punch on my way to this farm

I'm using a decoy to pull any cruisers off the ridge.

Anyone on our team filming their hunts? I’ve had a lot of fun doing it over the past few years. I haven’t decided how much I’ll bring my camera out this year - it’s a lot of extra gear and pressure especially self-filming.
Here’s the link to one of my videos if you guys are interested in one more hunting video

I’m out in the stand and just had this guy under my tree. He should be a dandy in a couple more years.. 407F6F22-E1B6-45BF-9EC6-E0E944B1DAB1.jpeg

I tried that a few years ago. Got a couple doe kills on film. When it came to bucks I was never ever to get the camera on them or not enough light to be able to film so I didn’t shoot. I have since ditched the camera so I could shoot deer hahaha kudos to those who stick with it though. Just wasn’t for me with the fiddle factor and carrying so much stuff

    Nice video Ben.
    I enjoy the cool/calm demeanor.
That's a great looking young buck tonight. Those are the type I like to pass up.

    Why so slow Tom? Weather/temps?
Real slow at my cabin today as well. I didn't hunt but was viewing windows and real slow here as well.

I have the tactacam 6.0 stabilizer attachment this year. I’ll use that. I’m not hauling fourth arms or anything anytime soon

I should be able to get out on some public land Thursday morning and maybe night. Took PTO day for my sons 4 month check-up and shots. I’m gonna hit an over looked piece and ground hunt it. Too thick and canopy too low for a stand. Very Bucky. Sits adjacent to two pieces of private land.

I hear ya. The buck needs to read the script perfectly for it all to work out.

After letting many bucks get by me I quickly realized I have to take my shot as soon as I get an opportunity lol it’s very hilly and thick where I live so swirling winds and small shot windows is the norm. Might try it again one day but no time soon. Wouldn’t mind to get a set up again to film other people when I tag out though

One thing I've learned is: take the shot: when you can.
Things can change in a second.

I'm not sure I thought it would be good today. The other guys I talked to said the same thing.

Even though I didn't see any deer tonight it was still a good day. We got 2 stands hung in killer spots and 5 cameras out on the farm my buddy closes on Nov 1 this morning.

Also I stopped at my favorite bar and had a couple drinks and a damn good burger. It's in Alma Wisconsin in Buffalo County and the place is just AWESOME!
