    This lease is almost 500 acres and we don't shoot a buck on it unless they are 4 or older. Most of the farms around us are doing the same thing. There are a couple ways he could go that he would be in big trouble. The best I've seen it work is I passed years ago a 3 year old that we figured was low 150's that was roughly 210" as a 6 year old. He disappeared that winter but I have his right antler and it scores 98"

    That's probably better odds than a lot of other places I guess. Hope he grows up and you get more than a massive shed out of the deal this time.

    Gonna take an early day tomorrow night and get ready for a weekend of hunting! Mainly going to be spending it scouting new areas. I found some real fresh road sign the other day. Off a little road that most people won’t even go up. Looks to be a nice saddle in there along with a oak flat and thick pine thicket. Based off satellite imagery anyway.

    Alright gents going back in this afternoon, gonna check one cam on way in that’s been soaking for a few weeks, then scout my way around looking for that big boys core area, 15 mph winds, ground still wet perfect for scouting

    I didn't think I'd get a chance to hunt until the end of October but with the temperature drop this weekend I'm going to get in a stand on Sunday.

    I could ride out to the mountains and hunt, but I don't have anything to go after other than doe. Have on decent buck on camera one time in the dark out there. I'm trying to get my cousin to give me permission to hunt a 50 acre old family farm place. Just need him to call me back. If that happens, I'll have to scout it, but you bet I'll go. That place is untouched.

    Hi team. Got snow showers here now.
    Got a couple more days to get a bear. Haven't had much time to try for one.
    Deer are moving great in these cool temps. Almost go time.
