Aaaahhhhh first sit of the year, not the smoothest but still quiet. Got fresh rubs all around. High stem count thickness between a bedding area and 2 fields. Game on!

We're recording another podcast tonight with one of the members here. Going to talk to Ty about small acre parcels. That will be the second member here we've had on, we also talked with Zach Hass about food plots a few weeks ago.

Here is a link to our facebook page. It has all of the links to the episodes that are live. One of my favorites is how my buddy won one of the Wyoming Super Tags in the raffle for Shiras Moose.

Great first sit, first one in was a small 6 pt came in to 10 yards, 30 mins later one after another, 10 does and 2 spikes still in velvet. Wanted to take a doe but the deer just kept coming out of the bedding area. All were within 25yards got spooked a couple but never blew

Guys I can't stress this enough, once the kill is complete you must get 2 different pics with recovered deer and your bow.

What a freak show of a first day. Got to the tree before dark. Found that my carabiner to my harness is missing. Had to go back to the truck to get one out of my box. For some reason I took the two attached to my bag off. No idea how it fell off of the harness. Just used it a month ago. Grab that and then realize I don’t have my release. Grabbed that. Get to my spot and light hits. All of my cleared shooting lanes are jacked. Wind storm at some point took down 3 trees. Crap is everywhere. Moved to a different stand. Sitting here now. Quiver fell. It’s a mess. I haven’t even sat back and taken a deep breath yet.

Lmao gotta love those first sits, I didn’t forget anything this time but wasn’t smooth setting up and took 20 mins deciding what tree to get in. The first spot I looked at didn’t have enough going on for sign and then I was like how would I kill anything, so thick wouldn’t be able to see or shoot. Definitely wasn’t prepared to hunt a south wind either. I did forget to put loops on my new safety harness to hold climbing sticks so needless to say I dropped two of them when I went up the first time
