I tuned it at scheels with these arrows and it was perfect. I’m concerned about deflection at distance l. No added weight at insert Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
With low FOC I think you will be fine. Spine is related to tune so if you got it to tune you are good Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
Appreciated. A stiffer spine would increase accuracy though wouldn’t it? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Just been watch deer on camera down here. It been in the low 90s since last week. Lots of action on camera but I won’t get serious until Kansas in November., after that louisiana will finally cool off for the year. Congrats on the does Y’all point is points..
Lol. We FINALLY broke of our hot spell. I seen more deer from my bedroom window this morning then I did taking a 50 mile tour this evening.. Sometimes mornings are great and evenings suck. A week later it will be opposite. Seen it 100's of times.
Not necessarily, spine stiffness is correlated to shaft oscillation. Sometimes you can get away with the wrong spine. You won't know until you throw it through paper. For example when you front load (adding weight behind the insert) you actually need to bump the stiffness of most shafts up a level. I would say that the right spine increases precision. Guten morgen. Good to hear some better temps for ya, Dave. Fix, what is "regular" season for you yankees up there? And I mean that as an endearing term, obviously....
Frost sure does sound nice right now. Hoping to get out on Saturday. But as of right now it's looking like we are getting the tail end of the cane. It looks like it'll be Saturday am when it fully hits. Expecting 30-45 mph winds. Time to head to the liquor store. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
I have been way busier than I would like lately. I am going to shoot my bow some tomorrow plus I'm going to make sure my smokeless muzzleloader is still on. Buddy of mine just bought another small farm in Buffalo County so next week I'm headed over to walk it with him and hang some stands then that night we have a Whitetails Unlimited banquet that is always a lot of fun plus a ton of prizes. My guess is I won't climb in a tree until the end of October unless something changes.
40 degrees in the morning! I’ll be in the woods after work. It’ll be a late start getting off at 7 but better than not being in the woods at all. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Forecast shows perfect wind for the stand I put up late summer. Tail end of the cold snap on the 1st. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
That pic will work fine. (For several years) Today sucked balls. Have a big shingle job I got suckered into on ONE condition. The homeowner was to have 2 good/reliable helpers. Neither showed up this morning. I stripped off 10.5 square myself, cleaned it up,and layed down new tar paper myself. Bout killed me but I did what needed to be done. BnB is one sore sunsabitch right now. Tomarro,I gotta get that side re_shingled. Most likely by my self. That 35 bundles up a ladder over my shoulder. I'm beginning to HATE people! Sorry for the rant but..., faaack, Covid has really screwed up people's desire to work hard. Signed, Pooped in Minnesota "
