Switch to an unlimited data plan. If you have been on the same plan for a couple of years, there is probably a better data plan for the same price now. I screwed that way a couple of years ago.

Heading to Iowa tomorrow. I'm going to broadcast a green plot blend into standing beans for late season muzzleloader. Going to try and stockpile the food and pull as many deer as possible.

I have a blend that is winter wheat, winter rye, forage oats, forage peas, forage collards and rape. It is right on the Missouri border so we'll get about 6 weeks of growing still. I would have liked to do it a couple weeks ago but there was no rain in the forecast.

    Gotcha.
Checked a couple bear crossings this evening.
Not great but they are there.
This cold front coming is getting me itchy.

I'll be in the woods this weekend but not for hunting. I'm putting up cameras and changing cards of existing. Also going to post up a few spots.

I'm contemplating a trip out to the folks place this weekend. I have some pretty regular does coming through and I'm craving some tenderloins....

So I don't usually waste my time on morning hunts this early in the year. I might, and I mean might, do an observation sit in the a.m. just to see if these deer are moving how I think they are. Of course, I have not even mentioned any of this to my lady yet, so that's pretty neat.

I know its not the best time of the year to go out in the morning, but I'll be down at my in-laws for a bridal shower my wife needs to attend. I think I may go out and observation sit with my bow. I can't help myself. I can't wait to be in a tree as the sun is coming up and gray light is hitting the CRP. It'll be the only weekend I visit the farm until Oct 30.

I'm ready for that time as well, although I won't have CRP around me anymore. Glad you get an early preview!
