Surprisingly quiet on here this weekend, despite another 50 points on the board.

Took the dog for a walk and did some scouting and hung another cam on a major creek crossing from last year. Came across some heavy trails and etc but nothing that screamed mature buck.

Heck guys. I've been knocking on doors for 40+years.
My success rate is well over 90% (yes)
People now days, especially the younger generation just seem afraid to meet a new face? And more so to be told No.

Around my area 1-10. People either have someone that already have permission or are afraid to let people on the property.

Nobody answered. Rang the bell and knocked a couple times and nothing. It's a strange spot. There was some cattle there, but I don't think the property is used as pasture. There's a ton of old cars and conexes scattered around. It's partially wooded. It could be a waste of time really. I'll try again and maybe catch em at home.

So I just realized that right down the road from my house is 26,000 acres of WMA land. Also has a minimum spread/antler point restriction. I may have to make my way down there and see what it's all about.

Eric, iffn you get a hold of them, perhaps approach them and offer them some help with the cows if needed?

Offering to help out is always in the plan. I'm bad at accepting courtesies without returning some.

    Honorable.
A bit ago, a new buck was in my turnip plot.
He bolted when I opened the door.
Just got a glimpse but he looked decent.

Got quiet for a minute with work and just had my last bass tournament of the year this weekend. And we won! So hoping I’m able to carry that on into hunting season ha. 1 more week!

I don't know crap about tech stuff but Verizon just sent me a notification that I'm outta data.
They charge 15$per GB whatever the $takes that is?
Have till the first till the bill is due.
So, gonna lay off a bit.
Between teams and LFTS, it gets horribly $$this time of year!

I enjoyed my limited time with you in that early season.

The de cas del Fix was awesome. 5 star accomodations.
The hunting was awesome also, even thou I didn't kill a deer I had them around me. I could hear them in the thick stuff. Thx again Fix

Chris was about to tell everyone your secret chili recipe, the combo to your safe and that you knew where Hoffa was buried. @MUDSHARK lol, glad you had a good time.
