    I’m pretty lucky. Pretty much have it to myself until around rut. There’s another 30,000 acre forest also that I hunt from time to time but I have hunted the smaller one since I was 10 and actually took my first deer with a bow off it. So I have it much more figured out lol

    I know you said SE Ohio, but what are you close to? I'm about 6 hours from Columbus, OH currently. SE OH is even closer. Always wanted to hunt some public land up there and looked at Vinton Furnace a while back

    Vinton furnace is the land I hunt! Lol I live in McArthur. I’m about 8 minutes from vinton furnace. I also hunt lake Rupert and a little of zaleski.

    Nice! Man, if I could swing it, I'd love to come up. It's 5 and a half hours from here, but I have a pretty full plate. Soooo let's win this thing so we can all be on the same team next season. Then I'll hunt Ohio then mosey up to upstate NY!

    These are all public bucks. Pretty average but I see at least one true giant every year that always seems to elude me. Hoping this is my year! Where the giant was coming out last year has rubs already up and down the clear cut. Problem is…you can see them from the road.

    I have no interest in shooting a bear yet but we just had a major cold front come through.
    Temps dropped about 15* in the past 2 hours.

    Got my killn senses turned up a notch!
