What's everyone target this year? Do you have a score in mind or even a specific buck?

I'm killing the first buck in the 130s personally

Nothing specific. Didn’t hang cameras last year. I currently have four hung, but they’re not cell cameras. I don’t collect any photos until October 1.

On my own land, there is only 1 buck 1 want (so far).
Not a high scoring buck but he's a beast of a deer.
Had him at 14 yards last year and my arrow fell off the string at half draw. WTF?.
I just got first pic of him this year yesterday. He doesn't summer here but comes in Sept.
Crummy pic and he looks like he lost a few "?

I have many other spots that have much better bucks score wise but I just like hunting my own ground.

I usualy pass up a couple 130_140 each year because they are younger and I've got to ,any of them on the wall already. 20220903_104345.jpg 20220522_144759.jpg

Shovel ready means if your friend calls and says... I messed up and killed someone, you hang up and drive over with a shovel.

I'd definitely want to harvest a doe. If a buck presents a shot I'm all game. Still don't know to much about my property. Haven't really had a chance to go exploring on it. Been laying flooring since yesterday at 7 am.

Lol I drew that line because you replied to RR response to which weeks are their favorite to hunt. He was saying he liked the last week of October or second week of November.

130 is usually my goal. Give or take. But If a gnarly old fella comes through and gets my heart going he also gets it. If I don’t tag out on public land…the second week of November I go to private on a really prime farm where a giant could easily present himself.

My Kansas trip is 11-19 November for the rut. Louisiana won’t get hot until the end of December.

I have a buddy( infuriatingly on another team) that is concreting roughly 15 days throughout the season. Man it's going to a great year.

Checked my camera on my property today. Looks like I have some frequent visitors.
Also had one deer that looks like it was peeing.

Had a new 4x4 show up last nite.
Looks to be 3 year old.
    Nice looking buck.
I usually get an influx of new bucks in Sept.
    No hard horns yet.
