Hey guys checking in. I'll be hunting SE MN and Wisconsin. I've got a couple good ones on camera so hopefully it will be a fun season. Good luck everyone!
Sighted in my new spot-Hogg on the new v3X 29 tonight. Shot amazing. Even at 60 yards the the arrows were almost blowing through the target. Got home to put the rail stop on the sight (must’ve fallen out of the packaging) and realized the sight is one adjustment off on the rail to use the stop effectively. I’ll have to re-sight 20 yards and reapply the sight tape. I think I am really going to love a single pin sight. That thing shot like a dream. Wish I had more daylight to keep shooting. After I went to a single pin I don’t see myself ever going back. I keep my shots under 30 so I set mine to about 23 yards. Basically anything in range is toast lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I heard Mark Kenyan say something similar about 26 yards. 26 accounts fir the deee drip at 30 yards and will smoke anything closer than 30. Do you use and adjustable? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Basically the yardage rack stop won’t slide into place to mark my absolute 20 yard adjustment. It’s due to the sub being below the rack mounting mechanism. I am guessing I move the sub up one adjustment to ensure it is always above the rack mounting mechanism. I’ve been thinking about it all night and it’s driving me crazy. I think I’ll end up using the same sight tape and won’t have to sight in at 60 again. It’s driving me nucking futs.
