Found one shed and one dead forky. The treerats have chewed on them pretty good. But atleast I'll be able to put some points on the board this year.

Alright !! Congrats on your first shed of the year. Dead heads don't count for the contest but we will still keep track of them for our own amusement.

I'm here, they still have there antlers up here. Been out 3 times fine tuning some stand sites and looking for any sheds from last year.No luck on the sheds yet. The whitetail population has been hit hard up here due to our last winter last year,Fish & Wildlife estimated Alberta lost 60% of it's heard due to the cold & Deep snow. This year could be a complete opposite, with no snow for the deer to get there water from. The small ponds are actually showing water along the banks and ponds are starting to open up in the middle. Just hope we don't get freezing rain and then snow then cold weather. Could mean another bad loss of the whitetail heard. Here's crossing my fingers and legs it doesn't happen. Will be out every weekend through out the spring as long as my Grandson can make the walks with me. He's just 5 and eager to learn what Gramps does all the time out in the bush by himself! Here's hoping he stays interested enough to entice him into bowhunting in the near future with me!

I'm here, I just hadn't been on this forum in awhile lol. I probably will wait a few weeks to start looking. Still seeing bucks carrying both sides almost daily.

First 8 of the season! I would have picked up more but it has snowed hard the last two days, over a foot at my place. :( praying for rain. I'm really looking forward to shedding and scouting all of my new areas I hunted for the first time this past season. I picked the ground up too late this past summer to really break it down. I have a ton to learn about it, I only scratched the surface hunting it this fall.

    Nice haul Troy !!

I checked some good spots today at lunch and after work. Nothing. Weather has just be too nice which is good for the deer. No snow to speak of. They really needed an easy winter. It is going to be a while yet from what I am seeing. Will keep you guys posted if anything changes.

We replaced a couple no shows from last year's contest that don't post on any of the forums now. As Captain I take my responsiblilities very serious. My only goal in life is to make Team 5 the best it can be.

    Anyways... we welcome...

    34. OutdrDave
    59. Indiana Hunter

We only have one team rule here to keep things simple for newbies....

Unless you two don't want to have some very, very bad things happen to you... find Team 5 some sheds !! :whip: :)

Seriously... Welcome to the team !!!! Looking forward to seeing how your guy's shed season goes.
