This guy was still trying to find a spot to hide one side... grrr. When he ran away he did so on 3 legs and when I put the binocs on him noticed he was using his 4th leg to hold the dang antler to his head. Sun of a gun! There was also a little 4pt running with them. The shed buck to the right had huge bases. Had me hyped up for the next several hours. came across my first snake too - yikes! Dave
Nice trip Dave, good luck in the next few weeks, Im switchin gears to the birds soon. My son is getting outfitted with a new bow (that will fit him) tomorrow so we will be shooting alot more in the days comeing up getting ready for turkeys. I just got a camera so we can get it all on film.
I was driving last night and i saw a spike with both sides still on. I think some are still holding on here in PA
I managed to pick up 3 more over the past week or so.. 2 on purpose and 1 accidentally. This brings my under achieving shed total to 10 on the year.
Another little one today but this one makes 6 sets for the year. Still hiking daily and there is one more big set out there for me this year I just know it!
Good deal. Waiting at the gate in airport. Kansas bound for the next couple days. Will report back along the way.
Snagged a little one a couple days ago and found a little one with nice mass today in a bed! Come on big ones I know you're out there!!!
