Found number 6 today. This is the most shewed up antler I have ever found but it counts. Quick walk before work today. Also found another skull.

I started looking tonight in my hunting areas, nothing, but that is where the big ones are normally found. I wanted to stay out til now, but I have stands to pull too.

Went for a walk today in my hunting areas. First find was this set laying as you see them, I passed this deer on November 4th, he was right under my stand and was about 18" wide and a good 180lbs dressed, a solid three tear old, with not much in the rack... This guy I dont think I have a history with. And this shed was found at 40 yards just caught the 2 sticking up and put the binos on it and this came into focus..Probably the proudest find as far as the way it was found... Todays put up 7,8,9,10. .
Good job guys! Man I have been really struggling so far this year and I can't figure out why...it ain't for lack of miles that is for sure. Did find another oldie today and no chews! Felt good to not get skunked again. I was glad I decided to take a quick scan of this small field with the binos as this was 200 yards up the hill from me. Fresh ones and big ones in my future though I just know it....walking way to much good stuff to not get lucky eventually. Good luck guys and keep after em!!

Josh I actually seen a 8 pointer today by the house that was holding one side still. So maybe there are some still holding there to Bud? Youll gettum slow starts allways finish with a bang!
Thanks bud. Yeah I haven't been running cams for a long time now but talked to a friend this morning that still had a bunch of bucks with both sides on his cams last week. It's coming. Team 4 is going to be the late peakers but that's alright we'll just shock them all at the end!
Been crazy with work. Had to push my Illinois trip back a week and now wont be out there until March 12-18, might stay and look on the 19 but have a feeling I will be beat by then and ready to head back. Nice going guys. I will catch up soon. Today would be a perfect day here with the overcast and light drizzle but there is no chance of seeing the woods today. Dave
Well I told my son to go and find that side that was dropped after school today and look what he came back with.. . All by himself, his first sheds! Dont count for the contest but thought it was cool that I mentioned the buck yesterday and today he found the shed.

Walked with my son today in a small peice in town. I was able to put up a couple more. #11 This one I feel bad about my son walked right by it a minute before I found it..#12 This one is from last year. Not one tooth mark on it.
