Names and captains I don’t care so whatever has majority is fine with me. I won’t be very active here until I get in the stand. As of right now my plans are to be in Kansas November 7-16, or until I tag out. I will do some hunting here in maine but I won’t shoot a buck unless it is an absolute pig.
Agreed. I’ve been part of a lot of teams in this contest over the years, including one team that won two years in a row. This is as solid of a group as I’ve seen in any of the prior years. I have a few deer this year that I would probably shoot if they walked in front of me, but I’m not terribly excited about what I have so far. I have two more farms that I haven’t even walked or set a camera on this year…hoping to do that over the next week or so and hopefully I end up with a couple better targets to chase. We’ve got a lot of time though and things tend to change quickly with deer moving around once we get into September and the crops start coming out.

Guys, just got back to civilization and I see everything is settled, which is good because I don’t care. I’m here to help the team. Also want to say Thank God for cell cams! This part time gig after retirement is keeping me hopping this year. Got home last night, laundry and repacking today and then heading out for eastern Ohio on Monday morning, but the pictures keep coming! Will be in Panama like I said the first week of season, but I never get too worked up about hunting until Columbus Day. Can we still call it that? Anyway, good luck to everyone and above all, be safe and have fun chasing the best big game animal in the greatest country on the planet.

3 short days and i will be in stand. Got my pack put together yesterday. Just want to set my stand and sticks one time to make sure all is good. Im getting excited. Fellas does this joker look sick, young or just the angle? To me he looks really skinny. Just showed up last night in my small foodplot around 1030, pretty sure I found his shed from last year on our back 5 acres across the river.
