First sit of the year, running late, barely get the climber set, release still on the bow in the holder. Doe at 25 yards in the first 10 minutes, not a bad start.

I got out this evening. Ended up seeing 4 deer. 2 does, a fawn, and a decent buck. Never got a great look at the buck. He was the closest, but passed thru the thickest area. I was only 30 yards off tonight. A small move and will be in the game. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

My vacation starts tomorrow which i am pumped for. Have had a few new bucks show up but I will probably hop around between my place and some public. I might leave the office a bit early today and sit tonight, its perfect out and I'd love to arrow a buck before vacation even starts...my wife would love that too haha
Had a good sit tonight. Went to piece of public that i never hunted before. Long walk. Ended up seeing 2 fawns and a spike. The spike was walking around doing buck things. Hit licking branches, making scrapes, bumping the fawns around. Even thru out a couple deep grunts. Fun to watch. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Last night i nearly had an opportunity at a solid 8, he was on a does trail and of course she walked by at about 45 yards, which is a heck of a poke with a stick bow. It was fun to watch! I have to bring the kids to the bus this morning then im going to try to sneak to my stand after that and sit until about 10 or 11. I have a good feeling about this morning!
Holt is looking lonely on the score sheet. 12 days until I leave for my hunt. Might hit the woods here this afternoon, gun season starts tomorrow. Having some issues with my shoulder, had to take my bow down about 6 pounds. Probably end up using my crossbow in Kansas. Don’t really want to but the arthritis in my shoulder has been pretty bad. Going to need shoulder replacement sooner than later.

Finally, I have a couple bucks on camera that I will hunt. I have only had younger ones until now. Time to get serious out there on the farm!
