I will score him either tomorrow evening or some time on Saturday and get us some more points. He's not a high scoring buck, but I've never seen one with brows like those around here and just couldn't pass him. I completely agree. I have shot really big deer over the years and people have started to expect that from me. What most dont know, i just love to hunt and shoot deer. Most times the hunt dictates what i shoot and not the antlers. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

Is this the same place you have gone to Kansas before? If i remember correctly, you had some big bucks running around on that place.
it is. I initially invested in the land and have lifetime hunting rights to it. It was originally 205 acres but my friend bought another 160 adjoining acres: there are 3 of us that hunt it for the most part.

Congrats Holt on the amazing buck. You got the team in a good spot score wise. I haven't been able to make it out yet, but we have a front coming in tonight. I am going to try to get out this week at some point.
Im heading back to that piece of public this afternoon to try to, God willing, loose an arrow through that big 8pt. There are a hand full of other decent bucks in there too. Last time in I saw one test would be around the 120 range, probably a bit less, but I am really praying that the big 8 shows up and makes his way onto the public. I haven't been seeing anything on my property which is expected for now as per conversations woth neighbors once prerut/rut is rolling the bigger guys roll through. We'll see what transpired tonight, its a 20 degree temp drop from yesterday.
