Not looking promising here either. Have seen deer just no shots. Heading in soon but will be out again this evening.

 

Finally got a shooter on camera. Pretty excited. Have a lot of does in the area and that usually bodes well for this time of year. Didn't mean to insert the little guy, but uploader is acting weird.

 

Quick shower and I am heading out. Good hunting guys, knock 'em dead!!!

Back in the stand for a half hour now. Rain and wind is here making the hunt more fun. Good luck to all who are out.

 

Congrats on the doe stinger! I hunted Friday evening & never saw a deer. Got in my stand @ my "buck spot" around 3:30 Saturday afternoon & saw 2 does. :-(. May get out Sunday evening with my daughter if the weather cooperates.

Congrats stinger. Been a busy weekend so far, seen alot of deer even with the full moon, saw my first shooter buck last night it was just to dark he came out just as i was lowering my gear down. My little brother killed his first ever yesterday morning perfect shot. I was an still am so proud of him. He has put in his hours in the stand an finally was rewarded! Stayed in this morning to butcher ill be backout this afternoon. Good luck to all an stay safe!

 

Sounds like everyone is doing well with their season, thus far. Congrats to those who already put us on the board. I'm really hoping to get out soon for the first time this season. Had to have some unexpected surgery but am recovering nicely. My trip to Adams county in November is still on and it sounds like there are definitely some shooters on the property we are heading to. Couple of buddies said there are also some decent deer around the public land we all hunt. I'm getting stir crazy sitting around watching BHOD and such. Stay safe everyone!

Cold, windy & snowing here this afternoon so I'm gonna pass on sitting this evening. Haven't seen my kids in 4 days so gonna take them with me to check cameras & do a little scouting from my nice warm truck.

Big boys starting to show up. Worst part is I am going pheasant hunting in South Dakota the next two weekends. At least I am off next week and can try and make a play on him.

Good deer stinger!! Ill be out in a tree bright an early saturday morning. Then im headed down to the farm saturday night get a couple all day sits in before i head back home monday night! Pretty excited to get back down there Temps are finally starting to look good. Good luck to everyone this weekend!!

Sat this morning & saw 2 owls & no deer which sucked but was still nice to get out. On the bright side I finally got pics of a shooter buck & during the day none the less.

Thanks, Rich. Hopefully, I can get out in the next week or so. It's getting really old shooting my 3-D in the basement.

 

I'm hoping to get out this weekend and spend some quality time in the stand. The deer are really starting to move around home and should start seeing the bucks spend more time cruising soon. Seems like forever since I've been in the stand even though it has only been a little over a week.

 

Saturday starts my week long vacation. Ive never been able to hunt a full week during the rut!
