I'm jealous. We still have a couple weeks to wait and the temps the last few mornings have been begging me to get in the stand. Hope you guys can get some blood on your fletching. Good luck.

Well gents, I'm off to beautiful Ft. Benning until the second week in October. I'll do my best to keep track of all the deer you guys will drill while I'm away. Stay safe and keep 'em flying straight

 

Sat Saturday and Sunday, saw a total of 6bucks, 4 does, 7 fawns. Nothing that I wanted to shoot, but it is nice to be back in the tree.

 

12 days longest days of the year. Feel like a kid waiting for Santa to get here

 

Down to 9 days and 9 hours. Work has been kicking my butt lately. Working 12 hour days has me exhausted. Keep catching myself daydreaming of sitting 20 feet up a tree with work the furthest thing from my mind

I don't know if I can wait another 9 days. The wait is killing me.

 

Thought my post made it but no. Saw just a doe and twins last weekend. Fawns were too small otherwise I would have shot doe. Off all week next week, so.... If a doe presents itself next week I will take her. Gonna be selective on bucks for a while yet.

Morning all. Just in from stand. 3 Does with 5 fawns. One fawn entered kill hole, rest stayed just shy of it. Gonna give it a go either yet tonight or tomorrow morning work just Monday and then I am off for the rest of next week to hunt. Good luck guys.

Sat in my stand hoping to fill one of my doe reduction tags tonight. Had 2 fawns, a small doe & a button buck under my stand for most of the evening which was entertaining but nothing worth shooting. Good weather & correct wind made it a great night.

 

It's a good thing our season starts in a few days. The deer I've seen around here are all very sick with cds......carbon deficiency syndrome :p

Good luck prov1 something worth shooting will show up soon. The weather here today made that itch even worse, 50 something when I headed in at 8

 

Less than a week to wait now. Got some picks from my dad of some that showed up recently. I'll get them posted up tomorrow.
