You should write your Congressman and state Governor to complain that your bow season is significantly shorter than other states. This is a direct violation of your God-given American rights to venison sausage, steaks and other forms of deer-related food items.

 

Very nice, Dan. Did you end up using Quickfletch? From the pic, it looks like you have the 2" Blazers and arrow wraps. Nice rig, brother.

Finished putting in a couple winter rye/oats plots today. I always plan on putting in some clover, but never seem to get around to working on plots till August and it's too late to get the PH levels up after getting the soil tested. Better late than never. Now just praying for some rain.

 

Gointo pull cards Sunday & put up a stand on the new property I'm hunting. Hope to put a doe on the ground in the next week & get us on the board!

Bow looks great Dan. Congrats. I'm going crazy waiting for season to start. Couple more weeks to wait.

 

Pulled out the slick tricks today and shot bullseyes at 20,30,&50. Plan on bringing that last pin in before the season starts. Only 20 days to go!

Sorry I have been light on the talk all. Planning on putting house up for sale, crazy busy at work, etc... The death harp is ready to go, got the broadheads on, clothes all washed... Now, I need Saturday the 14th to get here. Looks like temps are going to drop by 30 degrees between now and the weekend! Crops up here are shot. Major drought. Rivers are way down. Going to be interesting seeing how this season starts off. I check in before weekend. Have a great week everyone.

Sat in my stand for the first time tonight. Have pics consistently EVERY evening between 6-8 of numerous deer but of course the first time I sit I don't see crap. Gonna try it again Sunday.
