Checking in!!! Jonathan here. Hunting northeast PA. Big public land hunter (99%) of the time. I enjoy the big woods of PA where I can walk a few miles and not really run into too many folks. I hunt all seasons, however, love archery. Always try to take a mature doe in the first 4 weeks of the season...then it's buck time. I average a buck every 4 years....so I am due for one this year Got a doe last year, hopefully, get another shot at one this season. Wife, two kids, work out of town all week, back on the weekends. Get to do short hunts in the early season then all day hunts at the rut. Will take a few days off of work the last week of archery to see if I can connect. Oh - My 12-year-old will hunt a few times with me this year. He just passed his hunter education coarse. I hunt with the compound however, will start him on a crossbow. I'm good with any fun team name and caption! Glad to be part of the team.
