Got to love when they cruise by and your not there. Sat in this stand this morning and saw 1 spike. This deer was there last night at 415. No hunting tonight, daughters birthday. Good luck

Haha! I’ve come to realize that they are cruising by my stand “because” I’m not there instead of when I’m not there.

My trip ended without me releasing an arrow but it was fun. Got to see a lot of rut action that I didn’t get to see last year. Passed a couple decent bucks just not what I was looking for up at this place. On the public I hunt I would have shot them. There was a lot of eyes so I didn’t get to take a lot of pics but I’ll try to post a couple videos when I have time.

Stinks ya didn’t get to kill one, but sounds like a great trip. Some of the most fun/memorable hunts I didn’t kill on. Got my buck entered, Anthony didn’t get his entered yet. We are looking pretty good, season is just ramping up too! Good luck fellas !

Heartstopper for whatever reason your doe wasn’t added to our score, the scorecard was updated on 10/30. Did you add your pics to the thread? I’m pretty sure you did.

I just went back and looked. He never entered it in the scorecard thread. I should have caught that when he asked about it. I also just sent anthonyzink a pm. It doesn’t look like he’s very active on here so hopefully he gets it entered.

Suncrest congrats man. That's a great buck! Based on the scoreboard bucks are starting to drop like flies. I am actually boarding a plane right now. Heading to my buddies farm down in Texas. I'll be hunting all day all week. His property is stacked with deer it's ridiculous. They don't get nearly as big as they do back home in Canada. But I have taken 130" class deer there. And we have a few 130-140 on camera. I haven't been seeing a ton of action at home so I may try attacking one of these guys down here. Let's see how it goes. I'll be in a stand this evening. Pray that air Canada doesn't lose my bow lol.

Attach 2 different pics with you, the doe and your bow in the pic.
Write team name and number. location, time and date shot. Since it’s a doe just write Doe, if it’s a buck put the score and then them measurements how you got the score. Put some info on equipment. Like bow make and broadheads used

Yea I almost let one fly but I wasn’t sure. I didn’t want to wear my welcome out for being greedy. To tell you the truth it’s an amazingly place to hunt and trust me if i won the lottery that’s exactly what I would buy but stressing over what you can and can’t shoot kinda sucks. If a dink comes in no big deal. If a bruiser comes in then no worries there. But there are so many bucks that are in that 130-145 range that are so hard to tell. I personally am not wired to measure inches. I like to shoot what gets my blood boiling.

Congrats Suncrest! This past weekend was not good for me. I shot and missed that buck Friday then Saturday evening he came back and shot him and made a bad shot and didn't recover him. Looked all day Sunday and only could find a couple drops of blood that looked like flesh blood. Good thing I'm pretty sure I saw him last night in the field on my way home. Just not my year. Going to keep pushing threw it tho. Thats why they call it hunting instead of killing I guess. Going out tomorrow evening and checking cameras just to make sure he is still alive. Big bucks are moving for sure tho. Been seeing alot of chasing. Got a week and a half before gun season. Hopefully I can get it done before then!

Don’t know if you guys save the ribs from your deer but my word I just did for the first time and I have been missing out on some good eats!! I dry rubbed them and Put them in slow cooker for 4 hrs, pulled em out covered in BBQ sauce and grilled them! 241561B4-0F4B-4FD7-B3EB-72AB03028049.jpeg
