Nice doe!!!!! Keep em coming. I only got to hunt two days this week boys. Came down with a brutal flu. Was in bed shivering like a little child. Haven't been that sick in a long long time. Finally feeling good but contending with a damn cough which isn't making my life any easier in terms of hunting. Cameras are still looking pretty empty. Which again isn't crazy for me this time of year. But usually it starts to heat up now into end of November early December. Don't count me out boys. I'll join the action soon I promise.
Went out this morning saw a doe nothing else. Going back out this evening. My deer vacation has begun! Have all this week off! Checked cameras Friday and yesterday. I sat this morning for a couple hrs. Over a decoy. Had a little buck come into it. It was quite a show. After he moseyed off I had to leave. 4 days of work then 4 days of kicking it in gear. Headed to my buddies 550 acre farm in Calhoun Co. Illinois next weekend. Loaded with big bucks. I may have to watch a bunch of nice ones walk though. Will have to see what their kill/no kill list looks like when I get there. They target 5.5 yr old and older.

Went out this morning and 2 does caught my wind. The wind started swirling on me. Just got to the stand now. Got fresh scrapes all around me. Never seen so many in a 50 to 100 yard radius. Saw one shooter 6 pointer last weekend. Came in at about 30 yards but, was moving. Not sure I would have shot however, never got the best look to know for sure. This weekend will be tough to get out however, I have a few days off the last week of the season so, that could get it done!
