Yeah down here at school it was nasty snowy then ice. Then i went home for the weekend and they got hit by a lot of snow as well. I saw bucks still holding when i went home so even if the snow wasn't there i wouldn't have found much if any.

Its suppose to warm up this weekend weekend so ill be hitting the woods looking for some sheds. It will probably be muddy and nasty but that might get a better idea of where they are going. I know there is a big guy in there somewhere now if i can just find his sheds. This a rub i found late last year.

Well i went out for awhile today and came up empty handed. I did run across a few dead deer. They ranged from really old to sometime with in the last year if not before that. Here are a couple pictures. Then i found this cool coyote skull.

I know Kristine hasn't been able to get out yet. She has been sick for about a month now with walking pneumonia and bronchitis. She is finally starting to feel better so hopefully I can get her out this week or next and she can get some sheds for you guys!

Oly, I am thinking of headed down to Starved Rock area in a week or two to do some shed hunting if you want to drive up and meetup. Shouldn't be that far from you I don't think.

Sorry I havent been on much, been busy with work and working on the new lease and scouting for turkey season. Have come across tons of tracks and trails, and a rub that makes the one oly posted look small. But no sheds except the one that looked kinda old. Im heading out to the lease again tomorrow, and may go walk some public ground thursday.

I haven't been out since I found those few sheds early on. Way too much snow, but it is finally starting to melt. I am hoping that with the next few days predicted to be in the 40's, that it will melt enough snow to make it worthwhile to look.

Most of the snow here is finally gone, but I was only been able to get out for around an hour last night. I was doing more scouting as it is a place that doesn't hold much deer once a good amount of snow gets on the ground. My walk didn't produce anything, but on the way back, maybe 75 yards from my vehicle was a medium sized 4 point side. I circled around to look for the other side, but no luck. Going to hit up a different spot after work tonight.

Hey guys I found one today. I went of after I got back from my trip to Madison. It's a 2 point but it's a shed.
