I'm liking MBM (magnum or monster) still, it sounds good and is a strong name and ferg can have my vote as well for captain. I'll get everyones number dialed in and give everyone a tester text message.

Yes sir....3 weeks until its killin time for me. Ferg that sounds good to me, im gonna hunt the farm that weekend but its in the area. I think the park is gonna be a zoo that weekend with all the hunters and city folk coming down to see the "fall leaves". Look into hunting lot #30 It the one by the farm i hunt and its got some monster deer in the area. The only down fall is its a LONG walk to the timber.
As previously mentioned, I'm not a text type of guy. However, you all will be the first to know when I drop something. And make no mistake, I WILL be dropping some deer! Let's get this team #4 thing rock'n!

I like Monster Buck Mafia! I will have to check out lot 30. Not sure that I have ever hunted that one before. I usually hunt lot 15-16 along the river but I don't mind the long walk. Will have to talk to you about that lot before the season starts so you can give me a better idea where to go!
so is our name MBM; Monster Buck Mafia? I think that suits us well because we are going to create havoc this season on some bruiser bucks! Oct. 1st can't come fast enough...
Here are some pics of a good one on my property in illinois. These are from august 17th so he had some time left to grow, now he should be fully grown and shedding his velvet. These are the caliper bucks i'm after and I know he's not the only one in the area sporting serious headgear, but I will drop this guy in a heartbeat!

be nice Mr. TIM! Avatar is cool! Just add a little more Mass to those antlers! we got 40 minutes of footage of a buck I started getting pix of last year at 3.5, he's a 5x5 that I started calling Mr. Perfect due to his almost perfect symmetry...hes now much bigger at 4.5 and is pushing between 145-150 gross, he's still a 5x5, he would never get close enough for a shot, also, had a 1.5 and beatiful 3.5 year old 5x5 walk behind us at 14 yards, easy shot but passed. Had two others out in front of me 170 yards, a 3.5 and 2.5 year old.. all in all a good night of hunting. It was nice after having 2 very slow days.. they were on the move feeding away tonight! Mr. P and I have a date for Sat, no hunting thur or fri ... football and family night..

What ?? I was being nice by being concern on how your hunting is going. Thought I was a dead man last night. I had an 8 foot encounter with a skunk. He was heading right at me so I whistled ever so softly not to scare him but to let him know he wasn't alone. Of course that plan didn't work !! It scared him !! He spun and gave me the tail up. It was a tense couple of seconds before he dropped his tail and wandered off. When the hunt was over I stepped out of the cattail and had another skunk pop out of the grass by me. He was a bit farther away so I wasn't worried. I know where I will put TeeJay now if he makes it over for a hunt. (SKUNK ALLEY ) Last couple nights have been dead as far as deer movement. Tonight they were moving but I was working. Tim
