That might be something I'd be interested in doing. I'm in Troy, IL so probably less than 2 hours from you. I'll see how my fall shapes up, but I might take you up on the offer. I know what you mean about hunting alone. I've been doing that the last several years. This year my buddy finally retired from the Air Force like me, so he'll be hunting with me some.

If we continue to get/maintain a cooling trend, I'll be getting after a doe or two starting Sept 18 for Special Regs WMUs. I usually wait until regular archery opens (Oct 2) to start because it's too hot, but with these oak trees, especially the white oaks, dropping acorns so early, it should be good hunting.
We get points for a doe? I don't think they used to do that "over there" if I remember right.

Ok I'll tinker with the first one a little more. I'm new to this whole photo editing thing so bear with me.

I downloaded a font that looks like wood but when I resized it it made it a little harder to see. I also resized the name as far as I could without it getting cut off at the bottom. I also got rid of the shadow in an attempt to make the arrows stand out a little more. I'm not sure what else I can do to make them stand out anymore. I am still a little torn on the font.

The tree branches look like buck antlers. Wonder how it wood look with a buck instead of the tree branches.

Got my cousin coming up to film for me the first 3 days, stands are hung, its time to get it on. Whitetails bucks, bear and bull elk better be on their A game.

We get a name/avatar yet? Come on, I have a great feeling about this coming Mon, Tues, Wed... hunts

as far as MAHAT ... my arrow hit a twig ... you guys are kidding right? I aint planning on hitting no fugging twigs, I dont know about you guys but I am in this to put meat on the table and hang the heads on the wall! :)

if we go with MAHAT for a team name we will be the laughing stock of the contest!

I have to agree with shed. That's a negative theme. I still like Bucks 4 the Book. Not just because I came up with it, but because it's just really a positive theme. We could have a monster rack sitting on top of an open book or something as an avatar? Does anybody else like that team name/avatar idea, or no?

Although I would personally enjoy the banter that would start from Team My Arrow Hit A Twig, I would have to agree w/Shed that you all would be the butt of a lot of jokes if you chose that name.

Good luck to all of you!

It would never pass the votes. I know I wasnt going to vote for it.;)

I was just playing with the avatars to see if I could do it, starting with the easy names.

I agree. It doesn't get much easier than Bucks 4 the Books. :D
