I have about 400 acres just outside Wheeling. I am actually about 1 mile from PA and 3 from OH. It is great land to hunt only problem is it doesn't produce any bucks with any size. And the last two years I wasn't able to make it out during hunting season and I know that my neighbor was hunting the land without my permission. I have had a few cameras stolen from the land and I am sure that they are from him but can't prove it. I do hope to make it out this year but won't go till after I take something here first!

The Cabelas there is exactly 2 hours away from my house. Its the closest one to me but its not a bad drive. Whats your route to there? I wonder cause theres a chance your within a few miles of my house on the way.

    Hoyt, I got your info.

Ferg, I have no prob with you being captain.

As for me, I should have a doe down opening day. Tuesday is my final day of glassing and the season opens the 11th. I'm seeing a lot of deer this year so hopefully I could contribute some points.

Ferg you got my vote. As for me i have alot of stuff to keep me busy until the opener. The wife just got a new job a few weeks ago about 50 miles north of us so we have been looking at houses up that way and it sounds like we got the one we really wanted. To top it all off its closer to where i hunt and work so its a win win. Fella's its gonna be a good year! I will get my PM's out to you guys asap

I'm in a Special Regulations WMU and we can take unlimited antlerless deer only, starting Sept 18th - Oct 1st. Our regular archery season opens Oct 2nd. I'm pumped!

The public land that i hunt is antlerless only in October then either sex the rest of the season. Im going to try to split my time between there and the farm this year. Ive had good luck with the does on the public land the last two years an did manage to take a good 6 pt buck last year. There are alot of people who hunt out there but with over 4000 acres of huntable land you can find places to get away from the "city" crowds, it just takes a little time and a long walk.

Think my vote so far would go to either:

    b.k.m. (bow killin machines)

Team MAHAT (my arrow hit a twig)

Both of these are pretty good!

I think BKM is a good name as well. Hey, I noticed that team #4 has by far the most post replies. This means we have good communication, and that's what makes up a great team. Guys, I think we're going to kick some serious ass! :tu: Oh, before I forget, I'm not a text kind of guy. When I'm on stand the deer woods get my undivided attention.;)

Also, I'll be hunting the Edmonton Bow Zone again this Nov (last week), so hopefully I can kill a good buck up there.

    TEAM #4 ROCKS!

No problem not texting from the stand early in as long as you get the word out soon as you let them arrows fly! LOL

How about we vote for a name on Sunday through Monday night? We have plenty of good ideas already but if you have any other thoughts get them posted.

Also is anyone good at making avatars? We will need to come up with a good one!

And do we want to vote on a captain or has that already been decided? I noticed a lot of support for me and I am good with that unless someone else wants to throw a name in the hat!

How about Team Hoyt for a team name? Just joking, but at least three of us on the team shoot Hoyts. Good stuff! Yes Ferg, now that you mention it, we do need someone who knows how to make an avatar for our team.

I love the Team Hoyt idea! Not sure that everyone else would go for that but it would be cool!

My wife has Photoshop so I can see if she wants to help with the avatar.

The team name vote sounds like a plan to me.

Ferg I think your the man for the job.
