looks like we have a alot of bone to throw down, "hey troy" thats fine with me if you want to switch monster to magnum, it sounds good MBM (MAGNUM BUCK MAFIA), because thats what it looks like we have here! I don't have any good picks yet, but I do know there are easily 140-160 class deer in my area and one pushing 200" so lets rack some points up boys!

Btw if anyone wants to keep eachother updated from the stand or just a slow day in the woods, maybe we can exchange numbers in pm for some texting if y'all would like.

I text some while hunting. I guess depends on how the days going. My text would go something like this, "can someone come out to help me drag a bruiser out of the woods."

Hey guys, early in is checking in late, I guess? My PC has been down since last weekend. I hope I can help out our great team! Unlike last year, I'll make sure to include myself in the pic with my buck!:bash: At the time, I had no way to get a pic of me with my buck, so it couldn't be counted. I'll show him off again though. For my area, he's what we call "decent". Good luck to everyone!

    TEAM 4 ROCKS!

Ok I went through the thread and gathered up the team name suggestions.

    MBM (MONSTER BUCK MAFIA)
    Bb inc. (booner brothers inc.)
    n.w.w.h. (new world whitetail hunters)
    b.k.m. (bow killin machines)
Team MAHAT (my arrow hit a twig)
Hunts With Bowses (I know it's lame, but my favorite band is Guns N Roses)
    B2K2 (Big Buck Killers, Killers)
XD29KJ831LW ( Or any other random compilation of numbers and letters to confuse our opponents!)
    MBM (MAGNUM BUCK MAFIA)
N.A.W.P.C.S. (North American Whitetail Population Control Specialist)
"Bucks 4 (team number) the Book"

EDIT: here are a few more...

"CHOCHUSCHUVIO"-Native American Hopi name meaning "white-tailed deer."
"ADAHY"- Native American Cherokee name meaning "lives in the woods."
If you want to be really different we can just call it "Bob" or "Fred" unless "The Fluffy Slipper Bandits" tickles your fancy.:fro:

Thanks Joe. Don't we still need a captain as well as a team name? Even if I was asked (not flattering myself), I honestly don't have the time or computer skills. Anyway, does "Bucks 4 (team number) the Book" sound any good for a team name? Or, is it just another waste product of mental masturbation?:D

Alright sorry for not being on much lately. Been a very crazy summer but so glad that the season opens soon!

I am from Northern Illinois! I mostly hunt public land and do some hunting on my land in West Virginia.

I have been a team captain several times and will be pretty active now that my life is finaly starting to slow down so I wouldn't mind it again but it doesn't matter to me.

For those of you that don't know me and have read the rules on shooting a button buck yes the "Fergie Clause" was named after me! 2 years ago at dusk I took a small deer that at the time looked like a doe due to the low light but in fact turned out to score at 35 1/8. Because of that deer only getting 35 points and a doe getting 50 pts the rule developed! And every year since then someone has capitalized on it! Sure that will happen to someone again this year!
