Lol, I didn't even notice that Ferg. Thanks for pointing that out!

Got my doe entered and we are currently at 264 1/8". Not bad for just three deer thanks to Ryan's monster buck. We are off to a good start!

I'm good for a doe and i am just waiting for a good north wind to get a crack at a buck that i keep seeing. There are a ton of deer on this farm and with all the crops down now there is a lot less cover to hide them.

was on the ground tonight at my bear bait.. had 2 does walk below me, then a little buck came out 60 yards above where I was sitting right before dark then just as I shut off my camera a hefty ole sow and cub showed up on the bait (cant shoot sows with cubs here).. I finally had to huff at her so I could leave. Big girl, probably 300lbs.. fun night even though I didnt kill anything :)

Probably won't get back out until next week sometime either. This weekend I may go do a quick speed scouting session on the property I shot my doe off, that was only my second time on that property so I've still got a lot to learn.

The warm temperatures they are calling for will likely stall deer movement unfortunately :(

Just wait to see how many we have towards the end of the contest!

Picked up a new Gorilla camera arm today! Seems like it is pretty good quality! I also ordered another better camera arm from a guy from another site! So excited to get out and film the rest of the season. I was trying to use my Pine Ridge arm but had nothing but problems with it! I did a bit of filming last weekend but held the camera which really doesn't work so ths will be so much better now!

Whoelse is filming and where are you posting your video's at?

Ryan, educate me on this mock scrape thing. I've never done it or looked into it (up until this year I've only hunted public land) so i guess I'm kinda stupid when it comes to that stuff. How does it work?

Jumped 2 doe about 60 yards from my stand on the way in this afternoon then had another small doe working just outside my range while on the stand a couple hours later. I didn't get to sit where I really wanted to tonight due to the wind.

I should have time tomorrow after my sons football game for another evening hunt tomorrow.
