hahaha, I love it Hoyt, you guys I can see we are gonna get revved up here and have a great time, you guys already made my first day back to work (school teacher) a great one!

Yeah we need a team captain (or do we already have one?) and a team name! Gonna be a blast. I have some really promising areas to hunt this year. I meet with a good friend Thursday to scout a big mountain setting above a garbozo bean field over in Eastern Washington.. then I have my Idaho spots that are very solid. So I will be hunting Eastern Washington and Idaho this year, possible one out of state hunt later too if my $ works out..

I don't want to be captain btw, not that anyone else would want me too, but I just wanted to throw that out there, So if anyone else wants it, chime in, I think we have plenty of guys that will represent us well. Lets get this thread a Rocking thats what this contest is all about. Some of my best friends to this day came from my old original XX team back on hunting net.. Several of us still hunt together when we can.

    Checking in!

I'm moving to Illinois next and I'll be hunting in Virginia and maybe Illinois this year, hard to tell how much time I'll actually get to be in the tree. It's going to be a fun season though!

As far as team names I got:

Hunts With Bowses (I know it's lame, but my favorite band is Guns N Roses)
    B2K2 (Big Buck Killers, Killers)
XD29KJ831LW ( Or any other random compilation of numbers and letters to confuse our opponents!)

Looking forward to the season with you guys, should be fun!

We dont have one that I know of. Anyone feeling up for it?

Thats awesome. The reason I originally started joining the deer contests a couple years ago was to get to know more of my fellow hunters. Whatever the outcome of this contest, hopefully we all come out of it friends.

Here are a couple trail cam pictures from last year I look at to get me revved up and I'm sure it will you too.

This buck I only got one picture of. I never saw it from the stand but 2 other guys that hunt on that property did. The good news is he made it through the season. I just hope he stuck around the property.

This buck is on a different piece of property that I am still waiting to hear the status if I am able to get on it this year. It is my best property for total deer sightings. Lets just hope things work out and I can be sitting in a tree there this fall.

    Sure is!!

I honestly feel like we've got a great shot at winning this thing. Our team looks to have a lot of potential.

I even changed my avatar picture. It's a warning to all the deer out there to get ready:rock:

Hey guys. This is one of the bucks I'm after. He looks to be a solid deer. Not sure whther he is a 5 point or an 8, but he's good for my area.

well boys i think this is my target deer for this year.....i think he is the one i saw out in the beans about 40 yards from one of my stands on Sunday evening when i was out at the farm, if not then I'm not gonna be heart broken with another good deer to let an arrow loose on

I like MBM too! I thought I would throw this out.. everyone says "monster buck".. how about "magnum buck mafia" just a little twist on it.. either way I like it .. so if you guys don't like the sound of magnum, no prob!

Joe, DL and Drew , sweet looking bucks there!

Hey guys, I just thought I would post up a few of the bucks that I know made it through the season last year. Some of them have some good potential to be real slammers this year, if I'm lucky enough to get on 'em. I'm hoping to get some pics of them this year, however, I just got my trailcams out this past Sat. Here they are, ones that I am 99% sure that made it through last years deer seasons.

I just thought this guy was kinda unique. If he put on some inches over the past year he could be a shooter.

As you can tell, the common theme here is most of the pics were taken at night. Seemed to be the story of my season last year. LOL. Hopefully better luck awaits this year.
