Well guys, the afternoon hunt was much better than the morning saw a bunch of deer and almost had a shot to land us 50 points with a doe, but shje was just a tad out of bow range. I will keep trying though!

    Anyone hit the woods today?

We had our sons football game this morning which they won (btw their undefeated) and watching some NFL and following my 2 fantasy leagues. But I would rather be in a tree.

got distracted this weekend with elk, was on the go with a big herd all day yesterday, a nice respectable 7x6 herd bull. Lots of fun but never could get in on him close enough for a shot.. He put on a heck of a show, back after him this week and Whitetails too.

I looked to see if I can change the team name but I cant. Maybe a mod needs to be contacted.

I was out tonight. Saw 3 does about 80 yards away and then it started torrential raining at last light and I had to bail because I felt like I was going to fall out of the tree. I'm gonna keep at it guys don't worry the points will stop flowing in.

Alright back from my crazy weekend. Finished my last triathlon of the season in a total downpour. Made for a very tough race.

Then got to spend sunday in Madison, WI watching 2500 athletes earn the title of IRONMAN! Was an unbelievable day. If you ever get to see the finishline at an Ironman event I suggest you do it. Especially the closer to midnight the better it gets. Seeing everyone give it 110% after 16+ hours of constant movement is so motivating and emotional!

I returned home to a letter stating that I did get my hunting permit for Volo Bog near my house for the third week of December! So excited about this and can't wait to get out and scout that land!
