I'm Joe. I enjoy long walks in the timber and sunsets in an oak tree. This year I will be hunting Ohio and northern Kentucky. This summer has been very hectic for me (work, honey doo's and my sons sports) so I haven't been able to get my trail camera out but I know there are some nice bucks where I hunt.
I'm hunting int New York and New Jersey on public land. Saw only one real nice buck, but there are some decent ones around.
Hey fella's my name is Chris. I live and hunt in the great state of IL. Some guys on the team may recognize my screenname. I was a regular over on the "other board" LOL. However I have been away from the boards for awhile. My wife and I have 2 beautiful baby girls who are both under a year and a half old. So needless to say I haven't had alot of time for myself lately. However, you guys have my word that I will Be in the timber every chance I get this fall. DeathFromAbove here and this year i will be hunting a new farm this year that has some good deer on it and i can always fall back on the 4000+ acres of public land about 40 min north of me. I just took a ride up to the farm yesterday to make a few last min adjustments and trim a few shooting lanes and had a lot of "good sign" around all of my stands. The soy beans are still green and the corn is starting to get its summer tan and the acorns are a dropping in the creek bottom so in a month and one day its on like donkey kong brother! Oh yeah i forgot to tell ya all i too hail from the great state of Illinois and you can call me Andrew, Drew or whatever you want.
Why in the world would anyone put a case of beer on the ground right behind my truck? That was just stupid and only something someone from Oklahomo would do!!! LOL
Howdy fellas, checking in, here we go again, looking forward to a great time, fun year of huntng and lots of dead bucks on the ground for team 4! Opened today for me, just got in the door, no big bucks tonight, just cow elk.
Ryan here, checking in. I live in cherry valley illinois( Southeast Rockford). I hunt in boone county illinois behind my father in-laws house and do most of my hunting out by the mississippi in northwestern illinois. I smell success, looks like we have a solid team. I have never had as much confinance going into a season than I do for this season. I'm jacked, I have several shooters on my farm and one of which will be an absolute giant this year, so i'm hoping to harvest him and contribute those big points to our team. It's nice to meet everyone, so lets get after it and be safe!
Well boys this team looks pretty solid. 4 out of the 7 members checked in so far are from IL. We have one from the big buck state of OH, doublelung sounds like he's on a few up in the north east, and then we have shed, which we all know what he's capable of. I feel pretty good about this.
