Well guys here is my apology for your getting stuck with me on the team. Had an 8 cruise very slowly by but only in gun range. I was carring my compound not my blk. Powder tradition.
Gave it my best and actually would have had decent pts up the second week.
Some curses are real, period. I knew better.
Have a great late winter spring and summer

There is no reason to apologize Chris. That is the nature of hunting. Sometimes we’re successful and sometimes we aren’t.

I have to admit...being out and about...not feeling so bad now. I'm not the only one that had a very tough season. Doc said his was the pits too. No lack of squirrel and chippers though! Lol. He and a few others run a "club " (lease) on local crop farm. A few others around county weren't all that thrilled either.

I had a rough year too., First time for tag soup in over 15 years and I went to Iowa for 3 weeks. never envisioned this happening. I had visions of glory. EHD had other plans for the midwest. Too much planning to make sure my family was set for the time I was gone in Oct to hunt home much. By the time I got back my cameras at home went dead. I hunted anyways when I could. Wasnt much as I used all my vacation time for Iowa. But never saw a deer back home for the rest of the year. Must mean bigger and better things for next year I guess.

There's always hope,I did get a small gun buck . I'd passed several times in bow. I've mentioned this before(yrs previous) doe for me are a bigger trophy. They are so much harder to hunt here. This YEAR WAY FEWER in numbers, even on night cams
