Well, seeing nothing yesterday and only 3 today my 1st season is done. Not going out in the rain for the same result tomorrow. That takes my odds to just below hitting the lottery on taking another "fully" antlered buck regardless of weapon. I sat dark to dark both worthwhile days but I have conceded. I'll hopefully get out early Dec. for 2nd season but can't miss work for it so will miss opening day at least. Hopefully the rest of you fair better than I did, sorry everyone
Well, I did not see a buck at all but my buddy did see ONE and he got it. Here are my kills of two does and my buddy with his buck! Sorry I could not buck up for the team!
no wait Dawg, you got that all wrong. YOUR supposed to shoot the buck and let your buddy shoot the does! Well team a goose egg for me. Steve at least you shot something. The only thing I've shot this year is my paper target at the range. So one & done, I'm out for the year. Only doe gun left in December to time to get our and throw some stix.!
Didn't see squat this morning, sitting tomorrow out as we're expecting about an inch of steady rain throughout the day. Hoping that will get them up and moving on Saturday morning. I've probably got less than a 1/2 percent chance at antlers, but just looking to top off the freezers so anything is game.
