    2 and 1/2 weeks since our last post? What's the deal fellas?

    I will be getting back out this weekend. I'm going after a buck from now on, the freezer is full enough:d.

    Finally closed the deal yesterday afternoon. It was a cold, wet, nasty day. The wind was perfect for a piece of public ground that I have been wanting to try. Right 5:30 pm this little doe gave me a shot. Sorry for the pic, but I was alone and it was raining like hell. I hope we can still count her even though I'm not in the pic.

    OOps posted that under MOmighty's screename when I as down hunting with him. Here's a pic I took with my POS camera I had with me right before it died. Figures it's blurry too.

    Yea he busted off two points on his left main beam otherwise he would been about the same on both sides. I'll score him tonight. By the way this is my first buck. Don't know if I told you guys.

    It doesn't look like Justin is going to let this doe count b/c I'm not in the pic. I didn't think to make a big production out of a little ol' doe. Next one I kill I will be sure to get a picture of me and all my remaining blood relatives.

    Unfortunatly the next time I will be able to get back out will be the 14th-16th.

    This college 200 miles from home really cuts into my time in the woods :rant:

    I'll be out this weekend looking for another buck. I'm hunting a managed hunt so I have a fresh buck tag and a doe tag. It will be real hard to take a doe withthe rut coming into full swing by this weekend but we will see. I'll keep you guys updated I'm pretty pumped about this hunt.
