You've got some really nice sheds Hoyt. I'm going through a dry spell right now. I may have a chance to do some more walking tomorrow. Hopefully I can still find a few more.
35 This is a match to one I found earlier. This is the 2nd year in a row I've got the sheds from this deer. He will be on the hitlist this fall.
I think I have a pretty good idea of where he is living. I'm gonna go back either this afternoon or later in the week an get a stand hung at a funnel that I think he uses quite often.
I'm pretty sure that he does. He wasn't on any of my cams earlier in the season, but I didn't have cams where he hangs out all the time. The only pics I got of him was after season on the corn piles, but all the bucks were coming to those. Later after it warmed up a bit he still hung out where he always has and the other bucks went back to their usual places.
I shot a turkey this morning and my dad found a shed from the road today but I haven't found anything in a week.
I haven't been able to look for a week or so due to flooding, but I'll still be keeping my eyes open while turkey hunting.
Well, my brother and I were turkey hunting today and came across 2 old sheds. But unfortunately he found both of them, not me. I'll be looking for a little while tomorrow after I plant some trees.
Great finds Hoyt. I have been looking around Lincoln with no luck. I'm heading out to Western Nebraska for 4 days to do a little turkey hunting so hopefully I can find a couple more before I am done.
I finally found the sheds from the old 7 point that dropped in January. I'm extremely happy. And they were 65 yards from where I park my truck. #37 and 38
