OK/Sooner was on my team a few years back and he would post some pictures from his duck hunts and fishing trips in OK. Definitely some quality opportunities down there.

Well, I don't really hunt much other then deer. I'll take my kids fishing if they want to go but that's about it. I love to trail run, and I've been getting more into Mountain Biking this summer. Anyways I'll share some of my buck pictures from the last time I checked my cameras. 00000025.JPG 00000027.JPG 00000407.JPG 00000414.JPG

Heck yeah, very nice. What’s the story with some of the camera angles? Cameras look very elevated and shooting down. How are you setting up those camera traps?

On Public land in my area a low camera gets taken or in most cases destroyed and left on the ground. I bring a climbing stick and I set the camera pretty high up. Deer don't seemed to notice the cameras at all either.

Makes sense, I try to keep mine a little bit higher and out of the way but typically not that high.

Oh we definitely have some quality opportunities! Lots of public land and access, some beautiful scenery, and lots of wildlife and species of fish. I just wish the waterfowl migration would make it down here like it use to!

Okay, so the caption thing is settled but we need to pick our team name. I’ve seen several good ones so what I’m thinking is I’ll input them on a random draw app and the first 4 it picks will be the 4 we vote on. Unless someone has another idea???

I'm simple, whatever name is good for me. Heck Team 4 works lol.

Got my stand hung today. Cleaned up the back stand, too. Now its just down to patterning them and see what's going on.

***Sorry about not screen shoting the other times I spun the wheel, I didn’t think about it until the very last one! That’s my bad***
Okay guys and gal, I plugged every suggested team name into a random select wheel and and picked the first 6. Then I plugged those 6 names into the wheel and picked the first 2. Then I put the top 2 into the wheel and this is the one it picked. If everyone is okay with that then I’ll make it official at noon tomorrow. If not, please speak up and we’ll do it some other way. The name the wheel chose is Team 4-Bows4Hire 8A0E6A9F-4A67-4681-8971-F1D5A47482D9.png

Thanks Greg, Sounds good to me! I'm definitely behind myself. I need to move a couple stands around and do a little trimming myself. I have about three weeks until the season opens. It would be great to have at least all my existing stands checked and ready to go.

I'm good with that team name.

I only ended up shooting 1 dove on Saturday so I had to do a redemption hunt and smack some geese. NC opens for deer this saturday and my main VA hunting area opens Oct 2. It will be here before I know it. 20210906_125656.jpeg

@Slugger that is awesome! Nice pile of honkers. Hopefully I’ll post a similar picture this weekend.

We hunted a loafing pond surrounded by field. Lots of geese been hanging in the area. My NC spot opens saturday but does not hold many deer on it. Going to check it out this week and try to get a setup to hunt for opening day
