It's not bad at all. I hate guns, so that is a huge thing for me. But, I'm out here with the 308. Freezing.

Ben where can I submit my application for your best friend, step father, whatever? I want to travel around and shoot big deer every year.

Totally doable with this talented group. It almost doesn’t seem fair to the other teams to be honest.

Thanks man! Our first baby is due January 9th so I probably won't fill my Kentucky tag.

I still have my Indiana Base tag. Going to grind it hard for the next few weeks.

If you have Facebook join Bowhunting League. It's incredible for networking. I trade hunts with guys and we crash at each other's places. Just a bunch of regular guys hunting all over the country.

Ill have to check that out when my kids are a little older. You said your first is on the way, get ready! Congrats on the most amazing and most exhausting job youll ever have. Fatherhood may put a damper on your traveling bow expeditions but its worth it in the end. Good luck and well wishes to you and your wife. If she decides to have him/her 4 days early we’ll be b-day buddies. Mine is the 5th and my younger daughter is the 6th.

I am not a gun person. I can handle shot guns and the 22/17...but the loud boom and kick of rifles just has me leery. Aways been like that. I blame it on the first gun I ever shot was a 35 and it about sent me flying backwards.

Didn't see a thing tonight in stand. Back out to the same spot in the morning. If I strike out again in that spot I am moving for the afternoon sit! The grind is getting real to seal the deal.

I recently picked up a 350 legend. It’s a pleasure to shoot and is really accurate off the bench. Not at all obnoxious.

The 350 and 450 are very similar. I think you'll like the new gun!

Didn’t see anything this morning… got a warm front in so I’m guessing that’s keeping them from moving far. I won’t be hunting this evening or the next couple of days, got a project to take care of. I will be out Saturday morning though!

Dan, you’ll love that 350 legend, it’s one BADA** cartridge.
