Good luck, WB! How's the toe, Brandon? Supposed to be almost 80* here for opener. I'll be hunting morning, but wont go out for the evening. This will be my only hunt until the 11th due to having meetings every evening next week and a fundraiser for the fire department next Saturday.
Its doing better than i thought it would be. Still tender right where that filter actually hit. Mustve damaged a ligament or tendon or something. As long as it keeps feeling and looking better ill avoid the doc. Good luck for your opener. Im going to sit out till Monday. A cool front is coming through and Monday is looking better for me work wise to take off. Cant wait to see your hero pic!
Oklahoma’s deer season kicked off this morning and I didn’t get to go. I miss the days of not being an adult and having all the freedoms as a child lol. Good luck to all of you who went out this morning. I may make it out this evening for a bit but I might just wait until the morning.
Well guys sorry for not checking in here to often over the last week. Just getting over having covid. I was able to hang some sticks the other day for the VA opener tomorrow. Lots of deer and black bear on camera. Hoping to put a doe down. FYI covid sucks. whole family has it now. At least both my kids are back to normal. Wife is still down hard from it. Didn't make it out this morning - life got in the way and had too many things to get done before places closed. Debating going out in an hour or two. It's almost 80° out.

With the weather being pretty warm this weekend and not much activity on the cameras in the daylight I have decided not to rush and hunt like I normally do. Plus I still have this house to finish up so that’s what I’m doing. Getting my top shelf finished up today This project has taken longer than I imagined it would but I’m getting it! I do apologize for not being very active here lately.
You guys are all pretty handy. It looks good and is coming together nicely Greg! Its a long season. I'm really hoping something good shows up on camera in the next week or so. I don't want to blow out my stands when all I have is 1.5 yo bucks.
